Diana Walford is Maggie Astoni's mother and Coco Astoni and Ziggy Astoni's grandmother. She is also Ben Astoni's mother-in-law .
Storylines[]
Arrival in the Bay[]
Having heard that her daughter Maggie has moved to Summer Bay, Diana visits the family in order to see how they're doing.
During dinner, Diana is curious to find out every detail out their new home. Maggie tells Ben and her daughters to not discuss any of the negative situations the family has been in for the last few days such as Ziggy being kidnapped or Coco having bulimia.
The next day the family takes Diana out to The Diner for breakfast and a tour of the property Ben and Maggie have purchased. While out Diana is introduced to Alf Stewart.
Diana meets Alf.
Diana is suspicious that the family is hiding something from her. Coco cracks it and informs her what's happened with their family so far while being in the bay. This makes Diana want to stay in the bay for a week to help lend a hand to the family.
She later admits to Ben that her former husband, Richard, has a 27-year-old girlfriend, and that she feels humiliated and lonely. Maggie later tells Diana that Richard is getting married. Diana decides to sell up and move to the Bay, but changes her mind when Coco offers to stay with her for a while.
