Raffaela "Raffy" Sparrow Morrison (also Morgan) is the illegitimate daughter of the late Atticus Decker, who she thought was her uncle and the late Kate Lee.

She's the younger half-sister of Justin Morgan, Tori Morgan, Brody Morgan and Mason Morgan. She's also the younger cousin of Hope Morrison, who she thought was her older sister.

Raffy is also Coco Astoni and Eloise Page's best friend. She is also Ty Anderson's foster sister and ex-girlfriend. She's the ex-girlfriend of Ryder Jackson.

Raffy made her first appearance on 19 September 2016 with Hope. Raffy departed in 12 September 2019 after accepting a medical trial in Victoria.

Backstory[]

Raffy's was born in May 2003. Her parents, Atticus Decker and Kate Lee had an affair while Kate was married to Koby Lee and had four children. Decker pretended to be her uncle, while her cousin, Hope pretended to be her older sister. Raffy was adopted by Deckers sister.

Storylines[]

Raffy hears her sister Hope talking to Justin about their uncle Atticus Decker, who is in the hospital. Raffy is almost kidnapped by Spike Lowe and his associates, but saved by Martin Ashford. However, Hope is taken. Katarina Chapman tells Raffy that the police will find Hope. Raffy then breaks down and admits that she has no one else. However Hope was safe and she and Raffy moves into the Farmhouse with Kat, Billie and Phoebe. Raffy attends to Summer Bay High and befriended with Elly Page.

Decker later reveals to the Morgans that he had an affair with their mother, Kate Lee née Sparrow, and that Raffy is in fact their half-sister and Hope's cousin. Raffy found out the truth after finding a DNA test results at the Morgan's house and confronts Justin and Tori who comes clean, telling her that their mother Kate is her real mum and Decker is her real dad. Raffy was hurt and upset by this and runs away. Hope convince Raffy to run away with her and she accepts. But their plan fails as Hope got arrested. Raffy found out from Justin that Hope got arrested and refuses to leave with Justin. Raffy meets Hope again and Hope tells her that she's going back to prison and will stay there 6 months or a year and tells her that she should stay with Morgans.

Raffy refuses to leave Hope, but Hope gave Raffy to Justin and Raffy cries in Phoebe's arms as Hope is taken away by the police. Raffy learnt from her siblings that their parents were murdered by drug dealers and that they are under witness protection. Raffy runs away and ends up at the Farmhouse. Raffy almost exposed the Morgans' secret to Kat, but Phoebe arrived in time, able to stop Raffy revealing her siblings' secrets. Phoebe tells her to grow up and show some respect to her older siblings.A week later, Raffy found out Decker was shot. But at the hospital, Tori told her that Decker didn't make it and Raffy runs off in tears, with Mason running after her and comforts her in his arms. After Decker died, Raffy decided to stay with her siblings. However, when an unflattering newspaper report on the trial resulted in Salt being vandalised, Raffy defended her family to a group of locals trying to stir up ill feeling against them.

In 2017, Brody who was on drugs, shouted at Raffy and Justin was furious. Justin was even more angry when Brody drove high speed with Raffy inside and Justin deeply apologised to Raffy. When Eloise told her that her brother Matt Page (Alec Snow) and his fiancee Evelyn MacGuire (Philippa Northeast) invites her to go to Vietnam with them, which she refuses. Raffy tells her that Matt isn't her legal guardian, nor is Evelyn. But Eloise changed her mind. Raffy attends to Matt and Evelyn's wedding at the Farmhouse and the next day, she says goodbye to Elly as she left for Vietnam with Matt and Evelyn. Raffy meets her niece and Justin's daughter Ava Gilbert who showed up at Summer Bay from the city. Raffy instantly bonds with Ava and they later at the beach with Justin.

After Brody's drug addiction got worse, Justin kicks him out, causing Tori, Justin and Mason to argue, which upsets Raffy. Raffy was even more upset when her siblings forgot her 14th Birthday, but Raffy recieves a hand-made birthday card from Hope and Tori finds it in the kitchen and the siblings wishes her a happy birthday, but Mason and Justin argues again and Raffy walks away. Later, she returns home and to find Tori, Justin and Mason surprising her with a birthday cake, and Tori asked her if she and the boys could give them a chance, but Raffy refuses, but Justin tells her that they won't argue again and Raffy allows them to celebrate her birthday with her.

Raffy became friends with newcomer Coco Astoni, and Raffy stood up to Coco when she was bullied by Jennifer Dutton on her first day at Summer Bay High, but Coco told her to get lost. Since Brody's drug addiction get worse, Justin and Tori fear for Raffy's safety and decided that she would move out and live with John Palmer and Marilyn Chambers. Coco's mother and Summer Bay High school principal Maggie Astoni asked Raffy to move up in Coco's year, Raffy refuses, but changed her mind after talking to Roo.

Raffy struggles in her new year as she also got bullied by Jennifer. While waiting for a bus to get home, Raffy meets an older boy named MacKenzie, who offers her a ride home and she accepts. While settling in the car, MacKenzie makes a move on her, by placing his hand on her leg, but Raffy soon felt uncomfortable and prefers to leave, but MacKenzie drove off, with Raffy inside. Raffy sceams for help, and a man named Beckett Reid (Robbo) race to the car and tells MacKenzie to pull over, but he ignores Robbo. But Robbo refuse to give up and kept yelling to pull over. MacKenzie gives up and pulls over, and Robbo pulls Raffy out of the car and MacKenzie drove off. Raffy was hurt when Coco starts to hang out with Jennifer, causing a strain in their friendship. However, they mend their friendship. Raffy helps Olivia with her fashion design outfits and Raffy accidentally cuts all of Olivia's fabric, causing Olivia to crack at her and called Raffy stupid, causing Raffy to flee. Raffy took all her anger and accidentally threw a rock at Roo's car, breaking the screen, which Maggie and her husband Ben Astoni witnessed. Raffy saw Maggie and flee from the scene.

John and Marilyn confronts her about breaking Roo's car and Raffy denies it. Raffy attends to Olivia's fashion launch party at Salt and Jennifer gave Raffy some alcohol to drink, while she's still underage. Raffy gets drunk and starts to have more rounds, before being caught by Brody. A drunk Raffy made silly comments on Brody's beard. Brody took her back to John and Marilyn, who was shocked how drunk Raffy is. The next day, Raffy confronts Jennifer for getting her drunk at school. Raffy cracks and pushes Jennifer, which Maggie witnessed, who sends her to her office. John and Marilyn were called in by Maggie. When Maggie tells Raffy to leave her office. Raffy cracks and admits to Maggie, John and Marilyn that Summer Bay High sucks and she hates it here. Raffy dares Maggie to give her detention or suspend or expel her, because she doesn't care anymore, before slamming the door. That night, Raffy broke into Summer Bay High and accidentally scared Maggie, who suffered a trauma that she had back at her old school.

The next day, Justin realised how Raffy has been feeling and has decided that Raffy should move back with him and their siblings, since Brody has completely recovered from his drug addict. Raffy accepts and thanked John and Marilyn for everything, before she move back with her siblings. Raffy meets and befriended Alf's grandson, Ryder Jackson, who starts hitting on her and Coco. When Raffy and Coco plans a movie night together, Ryder joins them. Brody and Justin became very overprotective of Raffy when Ryder came to their place for the movie night, which annoys Raffy. At the end of the movie, Coco asked Raffy if she likes Ryder, who replies to her that he's cool and asked Coco if she likes Ryder too, but Coco denies it. The next day, Coco told Raffy that she had bulimia, and made herself sick when she eats. Raffy felt guilty for being a bad friend to Coco and asked her to let her help her.

Coco admits to Raffy that she likes Ryder as well and she lied last night. Raffy later tells Ryder that he and her will never happen, so Coco could pursue him. When Coco was away with her grandmother, Raffy and Ryder stole Alf's boat for a joyride and sail to an island, where they horrifyingly found the dead body of Dennis Novak. They flee and Ryder begs Raffy to keep it quiet. However, every night as Raffy tries to sleep, she began to suffer horrifying nightmares about seeing Novak's body, which worries Justin, Mason and Brody. Raffy told Justin and Mason that she and Ryder found a dead body, which they thought she was joking. Raffy cracks and tells them that it's true. Raffy takes them to the same place where she and Ryder found the body and her brothers realise she has been telling the truth before calling the police.

Mason and Justin apologise to Raffy for not believing in her before taking her back home. When Coco returns home, she told them that she has been protesting the community and Raffy and Ryder join forces with her. Raffy challenges Ryder to put his heart on Coco and later admits to him that Coco likes him and he likes her. Raffy attends to Brody’s relaunch party at Salt and hangs out with Coco. Raffy then persuades Ryder to ask Coco to dance.

When Raffy heard that Kat died in a car crash, she became devastated and Willow Harris comforts her and offers to buy her a drink. Raffy asked Willow if she likes Justin. Raffy tells Justin about Willow which annoys him and he tells her to be quiet. With Robbo in hiding, Justin fears for Raffy’s safety and Raffy moves back with John and Marilyn. When Raffy returns to Summer Bay High with Coco, Jennifer and Ryder, whose first day at school, Raffy was shocked when Coco cracks at Ryder for pressuring Maggie, who is sick.

When Coco was stressing out about Maggie, Ryder wants to cheer her up and Raffy teams up with him. Raffy distracts Roo by faking an ankle injury, while Ryder sneaks and locks himself into the principal’s office and play music for Coco until school ends. After success, Raffy and Ryder gets into detention after school. While Roo was distracted by John, Maz and Alf, Raffy and Ryder ditch detention and as they walked out of the school, they noticed a fire ball exploded a few kilometres away. Raffy soon learn that Justin was in the explosion and went to the hospital, where Tori treats him.

When Ava was kidnapped, Raffy blames herself as she unawarely told Ava's kidnapper about Ava's whereabouts. Raffy decided to move back to John and Marilyn and live there permnantly. Raffy later meets John and Marilyn's new foster child Ty Anderson, but she sees him acting rude and she argues with him. She argued with him again at the Diner and again at school. But Ty went too far by telling her that John and Maz will never love her like her own, and she slaps him. She later apologise to him and they bond over a talk. When Ty defends Raffy from a bully, she started to have feelings for him and was unaware that Ty also smittens her. They argue again when Ty refuse to let Raffy listen to his music. The next day, he lets her and she told him that it was amazing. As Raffy listens to his second song, with her eyes closed this time, Ty leans in and kisses her, before John and Justin walked in on them.

An angry Justin talks her back to his home and Raffy was angry at Justin for ruining her first kiss with Ty. As Justin still refuses to let Raffy come back to John and Maz, she texts Ty to meet her at the beach. As they meet, Ty apologises to Raffy for getting her into trouble. After a talk, Raffy kisses him. They continue to spend time together and while spending time alone behind a boat, Raffy asked him if she’s his girlfriend and he says yes only if she wants him and she says yes and they start relationship.

However, the relationship didn't last as Ty became more close to Ryder and Raffy assumes that Ty has lost interest in her. When Ty was in hospital after he was injured in the bush, Raffy came to see him and Ty tells her that he's gay, causing their relationship to end, and Raffy was heartbroken and angry at Ty and Ryder.

Ty tries to make peace with Raffy but she refuses. When a Summer Bay High student Abbi Springwell starts bullying her about her break-up with Ty, Ty stood up for Raffy and admits to Abbi the real reason why he broke up with Raffy. Raffy and Ty later make peace and remain as friends. When Ty's 16th birthday arrived, Raffy, Ryder and Coco organises a beach party for him. They teamed together to get Ryder and Coco back together which became a success.

When Ty's mother, Jodie Anderson arrives to the Bay to see her son, Raffy helps him and encourages him to talk to her. Ty decided to leave the Bay with his mother and he and Raffy have an emotional farewell before he drove off.

Appearance[]

Raffy is a teenage girl with long wavy blond hair and blue eyes. She wore many tops and jeans. She always wore her sparrow necklace, which was once belonged to her mother. Raffy's friends and family sometimes call her Raf for short or Sparrow. Her full name is Raffaela. Raffy has a fiery temper and is very overprotective of her family and friends.

Atticus Decker[]

Decker is Raffy's biological father, who Raffy thought was her uncle. Raffy never knew that Decker was her father until Tori and Justin told her.

Hope Morrison[]

Hope is Raffy's older cousin, who Raffy thought was her sister. They had a really close relationship before they moved to Summer Bay and met the Morgans. But when Raffy finds out the truth, Hope stills calls Raffy her sister, rather than her cousin. Raffy was hurt and upset, when Hope was arrested, and Hope tells Raffy to be with her siblings.

Justin Morgan[]

Justin is Raffy's eldest half-brother. Raffy and Justin didn't get off to a great start, but they eventually became close. Justin loves Raffy and is protective. He was angry at Brody for shouting at Raffy and putting Raffy in danger when he drove high speed. Justin became a father figure to Raffy when Decker passed away. When Ryder became friends with Raffy, Justin became overprotective of Raffy and kept acting like her father around her, which annoys her. When Justin walked in on Raffy kissing John and Marilyn's new foster son Ty Anderson, he was angry and refused to let her move back to John and Marilyn's home.

Tori Morgan[]

Tori is Raffy's older half-sister. Raffy and Tori became close briefly, and when Raffy finds out that Tori was her sister, Tori tried to calm Raffy down and make feel welcome to the family. When Raffy has problems, Tori is the only woman that could help her. When Raffy finds out that Tori wants to leave Summer Bay to be with her boyfriend, Riley Hawkins, Raffy became upset. But seeing how upset Raffy was, Tori decided to stay for her sister.

Brody Morgan[]

Brody is Raffy's oldest half-brother. Raffy and Brody never seem close much like Raffy did with Justin. Brody was the first person to found out that Raffy was his sister. Raffy and Brody's relationship is a strained as he is high on drugs. However, Brody recovered and his relationship with Raffy was mended. When Brody finds Raffy drunk, she told him that she loves his “fuzzy” beard, which annoys him. When Ryder became friends with Raffy, Brody became protective of Raffy. When Brody cooks for Raffy’s movie night with Ryder and Coco, Raffy calls Brody the “best sibling” ever. When Raffy noticed there’s insense between Brody and his ex girlfriend, Ziggy, Raffy teases him that he is blushing.

Mason Morgan[]

Mason is Raffy's older half-brother. They never seem close like Raffy did with Justin. But Raffy found out that Mason was her brother as well, and Mason and his siblings tried to make sure Raffy has to be trusted. When Mason’s girlfriend, Beth died, Raffy gave Mason flowers for Beth on the day of Beth’s funeral. Mason thanked Raffy for the flowers. When Mason saw Raffy with Ryder, he teased her by asking her if Ryder is her new boyfriend.

Phoebe Nicholson[]

Phoebe was Raffy's housemate and close friend. Phoebe watches and looks after Raffy whenever Hope is not around. When Hope was arrested, Phoebe comforts Raffy in her arms. Phoebe was furious at Raffy when she almost exposed her siblings' secrets to Kat, and told Raffy to grow up and show some respect to her older siblings.

Eloise Page[]

Elly is Raffy's best friend. They met at Summer Bay High, as Raffy attended on her first day at school. They became close and start a good relationship. When Elly was forced to move to Vietnam with her brother Matt and his wife, Evie, Elly refuses, so does Raffy. But Elly changed her mind, and Raffy accepts her choice. They said goodbye after Elly left.

Ava Gilbert[]

Ava is Raffy's niece and Justin's daughter. When Raffy found Ava in the bathroom of the Morgan House, Raffy tells Justin and Justin introduced Ava as his daughter and her niece and Raffy was excited that she met Ava and instantly bonds with her and they played at the beach with Justin. When Ava comes to the Bay to visit the family, Raffy is always excited to see her.

Coco Astoni[]

Coco becomes Raffy's best friend. After Elly went to Vietnam Raffy was lonely but then the Astoni's came to the bay. The youngest, Coco Astoni who was a year older then Raffy and Raffy met up. They took a while to gel ut after that were inseparable. After Raffy moved up to Coco's year things got a bit rusty as then Coco was getting closer to enemy, Jennifer Dutton. But things have been on the mend since. Both of the girls have a thing for a boy called Ryder Jackson, but Raffy lets Coco pursue him. When Coco and Ryder breaks up, he and Raffy starts dating, which upsets Coco, who later gives them her blessing. Raffy was upset when Coco decided to go to boarding school in Queensland, but accepts to let her go, but the two keeps in touch. Coco returns for Raffy's 16th birthday.

Ryder Jackson[]

Ryder is Raffy's ex- boyfriend.

Raffy and Ryder meet at the Surf Club where they play pool together. They become close and start flirting causing Coco, who has feelings for Ryder, to get jealous. After finding out about Coco's crush, Raffy tells Ryder that they'll never be an item, so Coco could pursue him. Ryder loses interest in Raffy and starts a relationship with Coco. Raffy and Ryder stay best friends. After Ryder's breakup with Coco, Raffy starts to have feelings for him again. He reciprocates her feelings and the two start dating. After Ryder is offered a job at Salt him and Raffy drift apart, he then breaks up with Raffy leaving her devastated.

Ty Anderson[]

Ty is Raffy's ex-boyfriend and first kiss. When Raffy first met Ty when he arrives to Summer Bay to live with John and Marilyn, they did not get along as Ty's attitude was rude towards John and Marilyn and Raffy tells him off, leading into an arguement. They argue at the Diner and at school. But Ty went too far as he told her that John and Marilyn will never love her like their own, she slaps him. They later apologise and bond at last. When Ty stood up for Raffy when another student purposely bumps into her, making her drop her money, he and Raffy instantly became smitten with each other, both unaware that the other felt the same way. They two argue again when Ty refuses to let her listen to his music. They made peace again and Ty allows Raffy to listen to his music. When Raffy began to listen to his second song with her eyes closed, Ty kissed her. Raffy and Ty continue to spend time together and Raffy asked him if she’s his girlfriend and he says yes only if she wants him and she says yes and they start a relationship. However, their relationship quickly ended when Ty reveals to be gay, leaving Raffy heartbroken. They became strained for a while until they made peace and remain as friends. When Ty's mother arrived to the Bay, Ty refuses to see her, and Raffy encourages him to talk to his mother. When Ty leaves the Bay with his mother, Raffy and Ty had an emotional farewell one last time.

Simone Bedford[]

Simone is Raffy's teacher's aide who helps her with school work. However, when Raffy learns that Simone was having an affair with her brother, Brody, who is married to Ziggy, Raffy accuses Simone for wrecking Brody and Ziggy's marriage, calling her a marriage wrecker. She and Mason both takes a dislike towards Simone and Raffy continues to be cold and harsh towards her. When Brody and Simone starts a relationship, she still doesn't accept Simone but later accepts her, as she doesn't want her relationship with Brody to be strained.
